> “Kenneth’s intention was to make sure that the things we needed Chief to do were supported but to also look at the things we need Chief to be able to do over the next decade, building in a visual vocabulary around attach points and different functionality on the armor that we may not be using now but hopefully will be utilizing in the future,” said Wolfkill.
Now the interesting thing here is attach points, different functionality and a 10 year design. I’m curious what the community thinks will be added over the course of Halo 4 and the other two games of the reclaimer trilogy?
Just a quick observation I see new attach points on Chief’s forearms and thighs. I’m also speculating the different functionality will be new abilities and technologies gained throughout the new enemy and forerunner discoveries over the 3 new games.
Other thoughts?
Yeah, I don’t know about the ability to add to his armor, It sounds cool though. Maybe a system kind of like Halo Wars, where you can find the tech throughout the map, kinda like skulls, and equip it. But there would have to be a maximum amount of tech you could put on there. And, if they could pull it off, make it to where it saved to the next levels.
Spartan style hidden blade!
maybe implants to improve accuracy or reload times.
To soon for me to speculate to be honest.
Oh man. I know someone thats gonna hate this. He’s all like “they’re milking halo! RAWR! Reach ruined all halo! They should just stop.”
me-shakes head slowly “fool.”

I’m thinking some new weapons or modifications attach as well as armour abilities and armour customisations.
Previous Halo games “remembered your weapons set” from mission to mission. I see no reason this won’t continue now, it’s a great feature and really adds to the immersion and customisation of playing.
Due to having attach points I also agree there will be limited usage and decisions to make about which additions to “carry”.
