chief will fall...

The Chief has been fighting for decades, and while he has always triumphed in the end, it boggles the mind to think about how many millions of rockets, plasma blasts, red-hot spikes, and bullets have been fired at him over the course of all his adventures. Although a few of those were lucky enough to graze his armor, none of them could keep him down. But the Chief has new adventures coming his way….

I think chief will fall in halo 4… not die but fall and fall hard!

Think about it, if he were to die, and was not the main protagonist in halo 5 and 6, people would lose interest. He is the most recognizable face of Halo and I doubt 343i would let him die. MAYBE in Halo 6 but we’ll see how things go. We NEED him for the storyline for the next 3 games.

I never said he would die… i said he was gonna go down hard at the end of the game…

and he will be low until the end of halo 5 and at the end of halo 5 he gets up!

This thread makes no bloody sense…leaves

Alot of talk has been going around about how the enemies are most likely Precursors. In this event, in order to keep them up as the godlike beings they are supposed to be, they need to be much stronger than Chief or Arbiter. I have a feeling, that we will start off fighting the Covies in Halo 4 or maybe stray groups of Forerunners or Forerunner Machines. Then, like the Flood in Halo: CE(CEA), the Precursors will return later into the campaign which i’ve heard will be longer than the standard 9-10 missions of previous games. The might and strength of the Precursors, would put Chief to shame and he would most likely be defeated by a single Precursor, only to be luckily saved by something. So, this, would likely be the fall your referring too. Halo 5 is meant to be the darkest of the 3 games. So we can scarcely imagine what they could come up with for the darkest part of the trilogy. Chief would obviously need to find a way to fight on even terms.

Sorry for my rambling. I tend to do it when stating things.

That’s rude. I think it it would be pretty interesting if he was injured very badly. And it would be cool to see the effect of that on him in Halo 5 and 6.

Its possible.

Master Chief is untouchable, I think he’s proved that throughout the series. Even in the books all he proved he was capable of was being knocked-out, or grazed by shots.

When faced with a foe the likes of the Forerunners or Precursors, I would question his untouchability. Both are way more advanced, etc. Not to mention the Precursors are godlike. So, I would say he would be banged up pretty bad at the least.

Well he is a reclaimer, there is probably a reason why the forerunners chose humans to be the heirs of their legacy.

Actually, he’s been captured three times (Victoria, Gravemind on i05, and the Dreadnought, respectively) and had his -Yoink- royally kicked on numerous occasions. About as untouchable as going into a Tokyo subway in the morning. :stuck_out_tongue:
