Casual topic. If you could pit Chief against someone, who would he/she be? Opponent doesn’t have to be from the Halo universe.
Personally, I’d do Chief vs Cullen Bohannon. No armour, no weapons, just fists.
I live in an apartment where the parking lot is right outside of my bedroom window. Specifically, the part of the parking lot that cars go through when entering or leaving. This means a lot of cars drive past my apartment.
Normally this doesn’t bother me, but there is one particular car with an obnoxiously loud engine that seems to always be driving past my window. I’ve seen this car, it’s a flashy muscle car with an engine that sounds like a Halo 4 warthog on steroids. It’s like whoever drives it just wants attention, which normally is fine, but this person seems to drive it all the time, and at weird hours.
I would pit Chief against the -Yoink- who drives that car.
Against other Waypointers.
Or doors,I believe whatever says the sign Push or Pull,Chief would just push.

This is a Death Battle I’d love to see redone since they’ve both got new tricks. But in universe I think the only person that is capable of killing Chief is Thel. He’s extremely capable so much so that it goes beyond any normal elite. It’s a fight I feel the Arbiter wins 49% of the time just wearing the old Arbiter armor. with modern Sangheili armor it’d easily jump that up to 60% or 70% with those Zealot grade overshields and the confirmation that The Sangheili combat harness upgrades the users power, MC likely couldn’t win against with Thel.

All she did was activate his Genesong and allowed him immunity to the Composer, it didn’t turbo charge him in anyway. Genesongs are sort of like programs but for organics. They can be changed and improved to allow for bonuses such as allowing people to be immune to a virus but don’t force drastic change within a short time, they’re built to influence generations not the specific being
Forerunners could get affects from them because they had great understanding of the Genesong and lived so long that it could influence the individuals well as their descendants. The only way Chief could see a great increase in anything outside of Forerunner related items form the activation of his genesong would likely require him to find some way to accelerate the process of it’s evolution.
