All he has is a broken ship, a high tech suit, and a hologram. He has little to no equipment that really can help him.
SO I think he sould make his own weapons From salvaged parts?

Heres what I want
BigShot:A sniper rifle that has had its scope removes and given a thicker barrel. Its bullets have been tied together in a way to make them bigger. It is a one shot weapon with one bullet per clip that has a extremely long reload.
Sparktan zapper:Named by cortana its a spartan lazer that has been redesigned to save power. Instead of shooting a huge lazer it shoots emp shot. The emp blast is far more effective then a plasma charge because it shoots in a fast straight line and the effect last 10 seconds longer.
master chief should go and save the universe with some good old home made shapened rocks as throwing knives a makeshift flamethrower and his bare hands
As smart and skilled as spartans are I really don’t think they can make a gun out of scrap metal.
He has an assault rifle from Halo3.
He tucked it next to the cryo tube right before going to into cryo sleep. Sure he doesn’t get it in the trailer but the trailer was noncanon for anyone that didn’t know.
He has new enemies that more then likely have weapons for chief.
We have already seen the concept art, the UNSC will be there.
I wont lie, I forgot about Cortana, but I still don’t think chief is going to find the tools to make weaponry and he is sure as hell not shaping parts with his hands.
I don’t understand why people think the UNSC can’t be in Halo 4. We don’t know exactly how long he was in that cryo tube. They could have been pretty close to picking him up before he comes into contact with… whatever the hell he comes in contact with.

Its already been confirmed by 343 that Halo4 is taking place in a shield world, it should have been obvious if you’ve seen all the concept art.
The big door is apart of the Forerunner shield world.

It might look like the death star from that little glimpse of the outside but on the inside its like a regular alien planet with earth like features only turned inside out. I’m pretty sure the shield world from Halo Wars had the outside covered with water, dirt and vegetation like earth, so the H4 shield world probably has mostly earth like features covering the exterior and interior of the planet.

Why would bungie end halo 3 with the legendary planet, when you think its a covenant ship? So you think halo 4 will take place on a covenant ship? that will prob be the most boring halo game to date.
Its clearly a forerunner shield world, read it or play halo wars to see what the shield world looks like.
Alright, heres the news about the shield world, if you read the books, you would remembers that in one of them the remainig spartans and halsey went into a shiled world and locked themselves up forever right? So that means the one in H4 might be similar and chief must try to escape or sumthing, also with the weapons, he had an Assault rifle from H3 and he has theUNSC coming (hopefully)
I agree with the point, and yes maybe he’ll happen across some weapons or tech he can use as a weapon with some help from Cortana…but as far as gameplay goes…no, IO personally don’t want this in the game.
It’s a cool feature, yes…but for games like Fallout, not Halo. Having something scripted into the story like “Chief runs out of weapons that were left on his portion of the Frigate and has to rely on things he finds” … that’s just basic. But I really don’t want to be going around finding parts to put together to make a new weapon at a workbench that just happens to be floating around randomly in space =L

Add that to the fact the thing just screams FORERUNNER when you look at it…it’s not a covvie ship.
It looks nothing like Covenant architecture.
The lines are BLATENTLY Forerunner in my opinion (I mean come on, look at the bright opening and all the flanges opening up around it…remind you of the Portal from H3 much??)
