Looking at the standard edition cover of Halo 4 it appears that MC has jumped from the FUD before it crashes on Requiem, I hope that’s what happens in the game. How badass would that be when you first see Requiem, 343 make it happen, or more like I hope you’ve made it happen.

Then at the end of Halo 6 he actually lands on something and breaks his neck…

No of course not, but MC is physically capable of jumping from it and surviving, so why not? It would look amazing, imagine the Terminator 2 scene where you see Arnie for the first time. Replace Arnie with the Chief and you’ve got one epic scene, the fact that its depicted on the cover makes me think it might be in the game, I can only hope.
maybe he used a life boat like in CE and he lands before the ship crashes?
Who said the FUD was on the front cover of Halo 4. There is also a covenant wreckage and we didn’t see that in the reveal trailer, so i believe that this ancient enemy basically destroys everything in its path both UNSC and covenant. I’m guessing that the UNSC ship on the cover is the infinity

Look closely, you can see part of the name on th ship.

It would definitely pretty amazingly BA of Chief.
IMO it’s unlikely it will crash. The damage to surface tech of Requiem would be significant.
I’m betting on some gravity docking derp or something.
I think it’d make a good second level : Chief jumps out of the FUD, Lands in the forest at night somewhat far away, Has to get back to the FUD for supplies or something while fighting hostile wildlife and/or Covie pirates (Would make a good chance to recreate the guta vs covie vs you fight but more large scale). Then maybe on the fourth level the pirates get annihilated by the ancient enemy.
Oh God, please don’t let it be a first person cutscene or even a third person cutscene. I want to experience it… firsthand.
