I heard that UNSC Infinity will have an appearance in the campaign. Does that mean that Chief could fight with this new Spartan IV against the Covenant?

I hope he doesn’t fight with them, but it’d be cool to hear about what they are doing elsewhere. Fighting with the AI spartans in Reach felt like I was playing with regular Marines. All the work was done by me and they just got in the way.

Hopefully the Infinity will only show up partway through the campaign. Even then, there’s nothing saying Chief has to permanently link up with it. Plus, who knows, something completely mad could happen. Maybe ONI is running the show and decides Chief/Cortana might know too much about some secret of Requiem, or Insurrectionists stage a coup, or it gets shot down or is forced to flee damaged… who knows?
It’s been confirmed that Infinity will make an appearance in the campaign at some point, but I have high doubts they will go back into war with the Covenant since 343 is so insistent and secretive about this new enemy. Chief meeting up with the UNSC Infinity could bring about a whole NEW war with Forerunners, precursors, or whatever enemy 343 has yet to unveil.

But in the end you definitely will be abroad the Infinity, or did I mishear what was said on the Conan O’Brien Show?

I hope it’s like this; The UNSC is sent to find Chief and Cortana.
They just miss them in Halo 4. The search is continuing in Halo 5 and it comes to the point where they’re following their tracks.
Then in Halo 6, they find them and help them out when they need them the most.
No I don’t think so, because the Spartans VIs are really us the “Player” if you really think about it, and that’s how I think about it, but who knows maybe other Spartans from the Novels/Films or just new Characters that are some what important to this new trilogy and will make a appearance.

Nope, it is not like Halo 3. In Halo 4, Spartan IV are UNSC soldiers.
