The Didact’s armor was advanced enough to have telekinetic capabilities. Maybe the Librarian provides an upgrade to Chief’s armor so that he can fight the Didact face to face, which also includes a telekinesis mod.
Fore powers in Halo is where I draw the line. And if the Librarian did that, why didn’t Chief use it?

I’m don’t mean the upgrade he just got, I mean one in the future, right before he fights the Didact in H5 or 6. Then maybe his armor could get damaged and lose the telekinesis mod during the fight.
That’s not really possible to do as far as we know. It would probably be easier just to give him a Forerunner Combat Skin if he need to get Telekinesis.
The Didact evolved himself in order to make him invulnerable to Flood infection (which in turn didn’t completely work). The telekinetic power he has probably came from the evolutions and mutations he did to himself.
I think the Librarian just changed the Chief so that he couldn’t be composed by the Composer. Otherwise he would have been along with the scientists on Ivanoff Research Station.
I think it would be better if Chief just got a TK Jammer installed in the middle finger of his gauntlet.
I hope not. Halo =/= Mass Effect.
The Didact doesn’t have telekinesis or the force. Chief won’t either.
What the Didact used in Halo 4 was mentioned in Cryptum.
Its called a Constraint Field, basically an armor attachment for high level warriors and security personel.
Used to detain hostiles by use of manipulating gravity fields, a technology definetly not uncommon with the Forerunners.
Until the Chief gets a high Promethean level Forerunner Combat Skin, he won’t be doing any anti-gravity work with his hands.
this isnt skyrim or Star wars. This is Halo.
should of fought the Didact with that it would of been a EPIC BATTLE!
Did some of you guys even read the OP?
Halo was meant from the beginning to have “telekinetic” people, but it was scrapped at some point.
I really hope we won’t get any more features that requires buttons, what buttons will we use?

Maybe replace melee for telekinesis in the boss battle.

Then it’s just a useless addition to the game that doesn’t really do anything.
If it’s something that’s locked down to specific events, it’s not worth adding at all.

Thank you. I’m glad I wasn’t the one who had to type this out.

i ultimately agree!
I got an idea, turn one of the UNSC soldiers ito a Promethean, who has full conscious and will fight for the UNSC. I thought chief will return, and telekinesis? draw the line between halo’s originality and star wars

I’m just guessing here but I think he’s referring to the part in Shutdown where the Didact personally addresses MC yet Cortana is unable to detect any such communications. I believe this happens twice and taking into account Cortana’s bemused reaction it would suggest some form of telekinesis is taking place.

I think you’re talking about TELEPATHY not telekinesis. Telepathy is being able to communicate through your mind, Telekinesis is being able to physically move/control things with your mind.
