I have a plan to prevent Chiefs death! Lets all get together, got to 343 wit guns and force them to change the game so Chief dosent die and Locke does!
I concur chief cannot die, he’s to iconic of a character I see them making him a monument and saying he never died just like Bungie did in Halo 3 allowing there to be an opportunity for his resurrection if needed.

Chief is human even if he is a super soldier. He would have to die at some point but most likely that would be in HALO 6 based on the time line.

But furreal tho, as much of a Halo fan as I am I don’t think Chief should go past 6. At that point won’t it feel just way too gimmicky? The new Mass Effect game is using a different protagonist, I wouldn’t mind if Halo EVENTUALLY took a different turn. Just not yet. I’m not ready yet…
