For me the most saddest moment in the Batman it is when he realized that Barbara died because of him. In that moment I believed in it!

Hell ya ill cry i hope if he does die he goes out like a badass with meaning but not anything like its a bomb and i need to romote detinate i think they milked that cow to many times but i really dont think he will die i hope he teams up with locke but i want locke to have his own game i would like to know more about him

I think, by the end of Halo5´s story…we know, how the future of Chief and Locke will look like. I hope they have a real ending to the Chief & Locke story in Halo5 and start fresh in Halo6.

From what I’ve seen of locke in trailers, I wouldn’t mind locke taking over, it’s just how and when it will happen that would bother me. ( if it does happen )

I imagine that Locke will fully lead his own Halo game at some point in the future, but I don’t think that Master Chief will have to die in order for him to do that.
I hope that they are treating Locke more as an expansion of the main series roster as opposed to a replacement.
after halo 4 chief is 100% digital. so he cant die. next 200 halo games will be with the chief kicking lockes -Yoink-.

Yeah Chief won’t die yet, at least not until the end of the Reclaimer saga and hopefully his death will be as badass as Sergeant Ghost’s!

I think that the Chief is going to die someday. And to replace him with another character is suitable. But to replace him with Locke is a bit… Shall I say unfitting? I am not opposed to have another character as the main protagonist. But so far our favorite Agent Locke has not proven to be a interesting character yet. The Chief is kind of bland, but all parts put together he has a lot of great backstory and happenings that cannot be traded with just anyone. If John dies (I think they had confirmed that he will not die in H5:G), they really should explain and evolve Locke in a way that fills the players with enriched emotional attachment, in every way possible. I have absolutey no problem with playing as the bad guy.
