You obviously haven’t see all the other posts on here. While us original fans don’t want to see him go, it is inevitable so that it doesn’t turn to another CoD situation. Likely not until after 343’s trilogy is complete though. But it will come someday. And as long as done well the halo universe will continental to grow without him as needed eventually and great things can come of it instead of them stretching a storyline of 1 character until it loses our interest when it all goes gimmicky and stale because the time lines will begin to not line up reasonably and get old and repetitive. While we all love chief. The halo universe is SO much more than just chief.

Look at my spartan record and you’ll how much I love halo. But Halo isn’t Master Chief. There is so much to Halo now as a story and a series that chief can fade into legend and the Halo Universe will be fine.
But I read the 12 pages of this thread and it’s the Cringest thing I have ever read. I’m seeing people calling for the torching of 343I HQ and other stuff. So yes, I will compare those fanboys who wrote death threats to the writer who killed Chewie, the fanboys who posted death threats and hate post to the programmer who increased the reload speed of sniper rifles by .1 seconds in call of Duty. The fanboys who SWATed the executives of Bungie for how Destiny turned out.
Yes the way some of you are acting here. I honestly feel like the writing team of 343I would get death threats of they did kill the chief off.
Relax and Enjoy the story. Halo is truly about the universe, the environment, the stories that are told. Not the Master Chief.
