The few chest armor pieces are alright but I really like the ones that add little bags or pouches like some of the halo reach ones. But the thing I don’t like is that none of the chest pieces have any color in them. I hope they’re not all like that in the full game because I don’t want some of the armor color to be blocked by a gray chest piece.
This is something one of my friends commented on earlier today. I went back to Reach to be sure. Both games their chest attachments have no color to them. Well, they do cause thats nonsense, but they dont use the color of your spartan. Attachments are additive so they have their own color. If they are a form of armor plating, they are grey or a dark grey added on top of your armor.
If they are bags, they are grey or closer to black and the bandoliers def have color given its bullets. I think the criticism is fair though and just want to remind you this selection is very limited. I would expect more bag like attachments or bandoliers at launch. Anything thats an additional armor layer, I would expect to be grey to a darker metal color given its an additional piece added on top of it. As of now, it functions verys similar to reach (I went into MCC to check to make sure im not wrong lol)
