I just got paired with a player in a Firefight game that had chest armor I’d never seen before. Their rank was lower than mine and their armory wasn’t 100% completed. The player told me the chest armor was called “multi-threat”. My armory is 100% completed and I’ve got shoulder armor called “multi-threat”, but not chest armor. Did I just miss out on it somehow? When I used to play Reach offline, a little box would sometimes pop up telling me that some armor could only be gained while playing online. When I authenticated my profile, my rank got dropped down to Warrant officer and now I’m up to Forerunner. Could either of those have something to do with me not having that armor?

I wore it for aslong as I can remember since the start. Loved it!
Guy asked me why I wore it, why I didn’t “upgrade” to something cooler. I told him this WAS an upgrade! Look at it! Look at that plate on the stomach…and those grenades! Aww, that was the armor…
But now I’m rockin the Paratrooper. Makes me feel slimmer, more agile and light.
I think it is time they make all the pre-order/Limited Edition stuff available to the masses. The game is approaching two years old in September, and Halo 4 releasing shortly thereafter. Throw a little swag for the folks still playing.
pretty sure this was with the Legendary box/pre-order Limited sets, it’s the UA Multi-threat. Someone asked me for a recon code awhile back, I gave them mine from the Legendary box and then I realized I had lost out on the chest piece. DOH!
If you pre-ordered from: Game, Gamestation or Gamestop you were given that armour. It can still be purchased on ebay if you really want it.

In Reach, there are 2 chests that are have valid entries, but are not included in the armory listing, These chests are UA/Base Security and UA/Multi-Threat.
