Checkpoints in Infinite?

Hi.
I just realised that there are no checkponts in the Infinite gameplay demo.
This started to worry me that there won’t be any, and you might just respawn on the map like in many other open world games. Maybe the enemies you killed before you die will still be dead, maybe you will go back to see your own body. This would not only take me out of the experience, but also take away the challenging feeling.
Maybe this was just for the sake of the demo’s presentation…? Maybe you guys can ease my mind.
Thoughts?

Probably just for the demo, although it’s possible they replaced the checkpoints with manual saves

Yea they prob will but if it don’t imagine dying right before you get to one of the Anti-Aircraft cannons from the gameplay demo and u die and u respawn back at the pelican that would suc lol.

I think it’s probably just for demo purposes.

From my understanding from the information available missions will be similar to old Halo games but just how you get there will be through the open world.

It’s likely we’ll maybe see manual & auto save points within the open world segment and checkpoints within the actual mission segments of the game.

I think for the demo build they didn’t really need to display save details on screen, I don’t think other demos have shown that either though I could be wrong with that statement.

There are probably checkpoints while on a mission and manual saves while free-roaming. But that’s just me speculating.

there will be there a core asset to the game no halo hasn’t had one

I hope there is because it was a core design every other Halo and it really helps when doing levels. I’m hoping they do that instead of Save points, I would be fine with either but I’m hoping they go for Checkpoints.
