I have recently been getting into forge and decided that now I will advertise my 4th Map/Gamemode, so I can get some feedback and fix problems with it.
The mode is called Deathmatch, it roughly takes inspiration from a mobile game called Block Battles: Star Guardians, the gamemode has no spartan abilities, no sprint, 200% walk speed, increased health and shields, a SMG with Extended Mags with hella clips(200 spare clips in total), 50% melee so it’s mostly a last ditch thing, power weapons around the map that should be able to help in gunfights, and arcade fun! I am currently recreating the maps from the Mobie Game as they really are good maps, but with a Halo twist.
Each map will regularly support 8 players max, but the Gun Game versions(Yes you will be able to play Gun Game on the maps) will support 14 people.
- Gamemode Story -
I purposely made a small story for this gamemode for it to fit more into cannon, even if it isn’t cannon.
Deathmatch is a arcade gamemodes for spartans to compete in for extra req, its like wager matches in COD Black Ops 1. The space stations that these simulated maps take place on are onboard UNSC or private owned space stations, the maps Deathmatch uses for their simulated environments are meant to look like places spartans will most likely be deployed too.
- Map stories -
Forest - This map takes place on a Forerunner world that the UNSC has used for research, but a rebel spy in the UNSC activated the Sentinel forces to elimate all UNSC presence, hence why UNSC reinforcements are deployed.
Winter - Taking place in an abandoned UNSC base apon a ice planet, UNSC forces are deployed to take back the UNSC base against the Created early in the war.
ONI Research Facility - In a ONI Research Facility, insurrectionists have forcefully taken the base trying to steal the data it holds, of course UNSC forces are rapidly deployed to elimate the innies.
Magma - On a Covenant owned lava planet, UNSC lay siege to one of it’s bases, as the match goes on the battle rages harder. Watch your step, not all the floor is lava free.
- Summary -
Deathmatch is currently available with it’s Forest map, search up the user name “ODSTvlogsYT” or just search in the file share “Deathmatch.” I spent alot of time on this, so feedback is appreciated. When the other 3 maps are available I will make more Forum posts letting you know.
