Yo what’s 343 doing to combat console cheaters using Cronus and other other devices?
For the moment we recommend heading over to https://aka.ms/HaloPlayerReport and file a report against the player you encountered, video clips are extremely helpful in these cases.

That doesn’t answer the question though things like Cronus are pretty hard to prove on the player side that’s why I’m asking what are they doing ?
It’s PC cheaters not console cheaters. As of right now there’s a tool that PC users are using to fly around maps and Aimbot. Condos doesn’t support this tool. They need to fix this issue though.

Chronus zen reduces input lag that’s it. Same with Titan two from my understanding. There really isn’t kick on the guns so it doesn’t really help any player.
A anti-cheat system and people that will report and have video proof. Just have to get together and report people.
The CronusZen and CronusMax are virtually undetectable at the moment so I don’t see how that’s gonna be fixed anytime soon.
As for PC cheating, it’s actually super easy. People are just using Assembly and Cheat Engine, the reason why the EAC isn’t detecting it is an issue with how easy it is to spoof that you have EAC enabled while it’s actually disabled. It’s honestly so easy that in MCC a simple edit to two files will allow you to do whatever you want.

I have my settings to where I only play against other consoles. But when i switch to cross play I get cheaters. And i know its for PC because i know someone that uses the cheats and he plays PC.

I play cross play regulary (only turn it off for Hardcore) and rarely get cheaters, but i guess it’s still a major issue for other people.
Its a possibility that PC players can use cheat software, there are usually countermeasures to detect it. If you think about it console players could see PC players cheating. But some of the shots you can pull off with a mouse especially if you have practiced enough. The reaction time and accuracy becomes unreal, which in turn could be seen as this player is cheating when in fact it could be possible that they aren’t, they’re just good with a mouse.

Sadly it can do more then that, legit all you have to do is YouTube the company selling these is full well knowing it’s capability for cheating and is promoting it…
Guys! It doesnt matter if its pc or console cheaters, can we just agree they both suck?
Yup, the cheaters are annoying. 
This is why I mostly play co-op games nowadays. Cheating has gotten way too prevalent and I hate constantly wondering if the person who just beat me in a duel was using external scripts to do it. I don’t want to play against bots that are designed for you to never beat! I want to play against real players, or AI that can be beaten by a player.

I sadly report people all the time and agree more people should do more reporting, but it doesn’t really count for anything when clearly nothing is done to those who cheat and to prevent them from cheating again in the future.
JUst have to play with friends and if you think he/she cheating just go on there profile and hit report player. The more people report players the more likely 343 will look into it. Best thing to do is have video proof and post it on YouTube and send it to Halo Support (halowaypoint.com)

My friend, I feel you are missing the point here all together. Befriending people you suspect of cheating and then reporting them doesnt make any sound sense. You gourself just used the term “more likely”, which means reporting in itself isnt enough. Not to mention telling people to post video proof when everyone here knows that getting a video to work is impossible. The point needs to be what more can we do to make 343I to pay attention to these issues, no calling you out to be a jerk, im just saying that generic answer I have seen you give over and over isnt a solution or fix. So what are some other solutions we can think of here as a community to better this? I say we do more in the forums to post the names of cheaters, racist, and overall problem causers. Make it known that the community openly does something to confront these issues, could be more impactful to fostering the change we wish to see.

Well if you think that the report system, taking videos and not working together to report people in games don’t work. Saving video’s in “NOT” impossible! You can use the Xbox DVR, On the PC each game in the MCC, films are stored as .mov files in the Movies subfolder of each game that supports Theater. 343I is paying attention. If people are to lazy to report and to show video proof then there nothing they can do more. The only thing you can do is use the report system, Use Video proof if you have it or just have to wait for updates on the anti-cheat system. I get the point of this topic, what’s 343 doing to combat console cheaters. There nothing ill’s that they can do unless they have a team that looks into your PC and run a Cheat tool to see what’s running in the back ground. My point is us as a community needs to help out 343I if not then all this is pointless. My solution can be a fix. I hade a hard time reading your post. You my in the future pre-read your stuff.
