I refuse to even touch ranked playlist until 343 addresses cheating, forced cross play and how match making works…

1. Cheating is killing the game for me personally.

  • Cheating kills any game, look at Titanfall.

2. Forced Crossplay is killing the game for me and for many.

  • There should be an option to turn it off and I shouldn’t have to go to Xbox settings to do so.

3. Match making, Unranked players shouldn’t be placed in a match with Ranked players.

  • That and Players with a low K/D shouldn’t be placed with players with a High K/D. This diminishes and punishes an unskilled player and new player unranked jumping into there first 10 matches.
  • New or Unranked players being placed against high ranking players is pretty punishing and in some cases has the player not even touching the ranked playlist in general.
    *EVERYONE knows Ranked playlist is going to be competitive, but in most games Ive played, Unranked players face unranked players until they hit rank, then are placed against players with the same rank / K.D’s. *
    From what Ive seen, this is Halo 5 all over again, where a team of diamond rank 1’s could be placed against a team of Champions / Smerf accounts with the rank of Onyx and Champions.

It’s an extremely sad aspect that should be handled by the game. It also empowers bad players to constantly accuse anyone decent of cheating. I had an average 50% acc game and was accused by an abysmal 14% acc player of cheating. It’s painful to listen to. I simply responded I have 20 years of Halo bud, just play more and get aquatinted with the game. He replied reported lol. Sad state all around.

I’ve been saying this since the beta period started. Game should have launched with an anti-cheat. A kernel level anti cheat preferably.

Thankfully they at least have theater mode enabled so you can tell players to watch the replay.

Yeah, not that I was worried, but just in case I uploaded the entire match and results to debunk any nonsense claim. It’s sad people get this hurt over being out BR’d, it’s a different era now…

I honestly don’t see the point of cheating unless you are purely bad at the game I actually best cheaters most of my games it’s quite pathetic if you ask me
