I was playing team doubles with a friend and I found a cheater
I saw a guy, shot him four times with a dmr
He panicked and backed into me so I assassinated him
Or I tried to because mid animation he glitched out of it and ran away
Cheating doesn’t have to be intentional, anything done that unjustly alters the outcome of a game can be considered cheating.

What about the possible times you’ve unintentionally cheated?
Lag can’t be contributed to cheating unless it is artificially and intentionally induced in order to gain an advantage.
Having one case where a player lags out of an assassination is one occurance and you can’t draw any conclusions from it. As a general rule, when you get to three similar results, then you may have a case.
Also, what if it was you that were lagging instead? On his xbox and the servers you just meleed the air, your xbox being a little behind started the assassination until it got the updated information that no assassination ever started on the server, and then your Xbox corrected itself.
Could have been both players lagging as well.

I mean if I!m going to get reported for winning and teabagging then I’m reportreporting everyone else for rediculous reasons too…

Yeah it does, but lag is not a reportable offense, especially if you don’t even know which side it’s on.
You could have lagged and then because of your issues that player gets away and you’re the one reporting him for getting an advantage from your side.
Good solid logic, being a victim of something and then proceeding to do the same thing himself, no care in the world if it’s an innocent or not. That will surely show those wrongdoers.

I didn’t report him for cheating, I reported him for teabagging. The meds on waypoint say its okay to do that so…

its not even cheating. i suggest you go on youtube and search for “halo 5 lag montage” then you tell me if thats cheating or not. theres also some noobs out there who uses mods to kill quickly, however, they get caught instantly.

That’s not considered cheating. If anything it would be stated as a glitch or error in the servers. I don’t quite understand how on earth you consider that cheating. You used a definition of cheating, which yes, alters the outcome of the game but is not meant to be used in the context you are using it in.
I agree with Nadesicle. he dosent understand the meaning of cheating.
and Solidus… you dont need to report them. if a troll is using mods he gets caught instantly and consist of a permanent ban as 343 servers will detect that activity anyway. he wont get passed a single online match. if you dont believe me you can do your own research.
I think this has run it’s course; the incident in the video looked like lag to me and it wouldn’t be prudent (imo) to blame a person for something that was almost certainly not intentional.
