Anyone else having an issue with this? Played a match of BTB today. We were winning until everyone went to blue reconnect screen. When we reconnected, one of the members of the other team had gained a considerable amount of kills (20 or so) and had the Scorpion and was controlling our spawn. I personally think he cheated. Hoping someone can shine some light on the issue.
Sounds like a DDOS attack. That is most certainly cheating although 343 are unable to do anything about it as it is an attack on your internet rather than moding the game in any way. You can only report him and hope something gets done. If you want to prevent repeats of this I recommend using a proxy or switch.

Normal lag doesn’t put you in blue screen for a large majority of a match. More than likely it was a DDOS attack.

If you got hit by a DDoS attack you wouldn’t have completed the game at all…

I don’t think any of you actually understand what an attack via DDoS does, with that being said I feel that there is more acquiescence going on than any discussion of what the OP stated. If in fact you were hosed (DDoS’d) not only would you not be able to reconnect to the server, you would immediately crash and it would go into failsafe (bsod) There is a 0 (zero) percent chance you were DDoS’d, denied service, and you were probably just experiencing the horrid nature of 343’s servers. They are the worst halo servers to date and odds are you would have continued to respawn uncontrollably whereas the player in the tank had no port issues and spawn trapped your team like a decent BTB player would do. It happens fairly often, yet you were no DDoS’d.
