Am I the only one seeing the this new trend of people saying they quit because of cheaters?..I’ve seen this excuse in 2-3 threads today at least and have heard people complain about cheating over mic in game recently
How can you cheat in Halo 5? Its impossible to cheat the only thing close to it I can think of is map exploits.
What are Halo 5 “Cheaters” doing exactly?..
I’ve even heard people saying halo players are using modded controllers…
I don’t know man…seems like a lot of BS to me I haven’t seen one cheater/modded controller user…I did see a lot of WA basr capture exploiters/cheaters when that was a thing
The only cheating I have seen are spartan companies boosting their kill medals. They play against themselves, and kill the same players over and over again.

Well the servers are getting worse every week it seems so it may just be from lag. But “cheating”… I don’t think so.

Play against themselves? How? Arent party limits in place to prevent that?

Not my team. I saw the videos, they were all members of the same spartan company. You should not be so quick to display ignorance.
Kids these days. No one is able to cheat in Halo 5 so far, are there exploits? Sure theres probly still some unfixed ones. Stat padding isn’t cheating it’s just unsportsmanlike. Now if you played Halo 2 way back in the day you saw cheating because of hackers modding files and what not. Man I remember flying scorpions in big team battle and that was annoying. One guy on my team modded the gauss hog once so it was just the turret flying around. I jumped on it once and was completely bewildered… looked like I was riding a speeder from star wars lol.
Well the cheat is what is called a BOT. It mainly does 2 things, 1: Never miss so if you see someone shooting at nothing, it can be the cant have to high of a head shot ratio. Personally caught a player with a 90% plus head shot kill ratio. 2: see the enemy through walls and depending can shot through walls. Not a bot but an explit is a ghost under the map. One last hack is getting into a game at lvl 1 when you are actually much higher also help players get on the same team. ,:~}
Iv’e heard a lot about aimbots n stuff might be some truth to it. Iv’e had issues recently as well with getting shot round corners, not sure if its a glitch or what. Very frustrating. Also players randomly disappearing n stuff, prob just bad connections tho

It’s all dedicated servers, lag switches aren’t a thing.

They are a thing(even on dedicated servers), they are used heavily in halo 5 and they will always be around. A player who is lag switching is incredibly easy to point out in Warzone. A lot of the time you will see the entire match shift at a key moment like Warden Eternal. Ever wonder why the game gets so laggy at that last hit on Warden? Its obvious. Its generally not found in Arena because competitive players will point it out but its definitely around.

You can’t aimbot on Xbox One in any game its not possible to do
