I think you just suck…
I come across cheaters almost every game pc gamers are a real problem with profiles with a gamerscore between 0 and 800 and playing on pc with wall and melee hacks most of the time. pc gamers try to pass that under silence because they don’t want crossplay off which would make the game much better

I come across a cheater once in every hundred games now. At most. I don’t think there is that much of a issue.
When people say they don’t come up against cheaters, they are just lucky. I limit my time in PVP because of the cheaters, and all the other problems such as desync, etc.
The thing is, I don’t assume players are cheating because they out gun me, I know they are cheating when they run around the map destroying everyone, they are at least three times harder to take down than anyone else, and my weapons and melees pose minimal risk to them, and they know it.
I started to play matches through the community custom browser, but I think custom games have become more rife with cheaters, it just destroys the fun. The fun comes from fair, challenging, and sometimes impossible odds, but all that disappears when there are players using aim bots, and what are obviously enhanced shields.
I wouldn’t call it rampant (not rampart). Found maybe 2-3 very sketchy people and 2 obvious hackers which I’ve never seen again.
Maybe even the hackers are tired of the same old crap since release ![]()
But thats the thing how could they make it F2P knowing apex , cod and others have the same issued plus they didn’t have a anticheat day one thats absurd
When u reach onix on rank arena u will understand wallers and soft aimboters are just running around radion silence with no coms running solo pre nading and just straight looking for u behaind walls it annoying bro from 5k players olaying the game still 4k are cheating and is not a joke do something
halo infinite was still in development when warzone was release for the cod serie’s.
back then you can see all there was a big cheating problem there all.
warzone release was in 10 march 2020.
halo infinite was release on 8 december 2021.
thats 1 year and 9 month’s long there have knowing it was a big mistake.
so there was a lot off time all to chance it from F2P to Pay to Play.
Had you asked me in December, I would have agreed with you. But it’s gotten really bad lately. It’s to the point that I don’t want to play anymore, and I started with H1. Crossplay needs to go. It’s way too easy to manipulate programs in a more open environment like a PC vs a console. Halo was created as a console game. That’s where it belongs.
Cheating is the worst it’s been since halo 2. I remember joining games only to find yourself in some strange map (modded) getting shot repeatedly until someone wins 50-0.
I’m ok with the cross play option for the playing with friends and such but it would be nice to have the option at least to turn it off. i don’t think it should be “forced” cross play. I’d rather wait longer in between matches vs having the uncertainty of playing against pc players. Case In point after losing a ranked match to someone who goes 34-2 that supposedly is your same rank. Just seems a little fishy is all. Not bashing pc players at all just would rather play console vs console players myself.
PC provides no advantage at all. The reason people are going 34-2 against you is because the MMR is broken, and match balancing doesn’t work. It’s also getting harder as the population gets lower.
Removing crossplay just limits an already small community from finding any games at all.
I agree a straight up player on pc is a totally fair fight but this post was referring to those who stoop to cheating and it’s easier to cheat on pc vs a console. if I’m playing a custom game against someone I know is on pc and I know them then of course it wouldn’t be an issue whatsoever. I’m not anti pc just anti cheat and if I could have the option to turn off cross play then I think we should be able to do so is all.
Yeah, I get that. But this game doesn’t have the cheating issue people think it does. Most of the “cheating” is just desync and poor server connection.
I’ve put heaps of hours into this game.
Only really come across one definite cheater. Who I reported with solid video evidence. Hope they rot in Hell.
Pretty much everything else could be explained by lag and/or lack of skill on my behalf.
I’ve noticed this issue as well, emptied a full mag into someone with an AR and BR, plus hit him in the head with the Sniper and no damage was taken. This guy went 50 and 0 and half of us just left the game because there was nothing we could do to stop him.
you know reporting cheaters is compleet pointless to do since there always come back.
so long the game is F2P there always come back and there is no end on it.
so reporting then is a pointless thing to do since the banning system has become compleet worthless thanks to the F2P formule.
So there was recently a thread regarding cheaters on PC.
I checked some stats and couldn’t conclude any form of cheating.
Did you check the match history of anyone you thought a cheater?
There’s actually more wall hacking lately then before that I’ve randomly been watching. Spilling over from call of duty no doubt. You get the odd ones in ranked. It’s annoying but I’ve gone back in theatre thinking of how someone just knew where I was predicting with no way I was seen or called out and there doing it all game. I just report and move on. No one cares. This is what you get for including computer players. It’s there own demise. Xbox will die because of it eventually. Ppl will move to pc. They aren’t too bright. All my friends have made the jump and I’m next. This is my last Xbox only because pc has an advantage. They’ve basically all but confirmed it. Dumb so expensive.
I have over 330 hours playtime in Infinite. Let’s say 60 of those are playing campaign. That’s 270 hours playtime in multiplayer. I can’t think of a single time I’ve played against someone who was (at least blatantly) cheating. I have a hard time believing that I’ve just been so lucky to avoid playing against cheaters if they really are “running rampant.” More likely you’ve just been running into people that are way higher skill due to the matching system not working correctly.
