For the love of God can somebody ban these two cheating b****** that I and many others match against in Anniversary Classic on a daily basis? Report them through xbox blah blah blah, yeah I’ve done that and many other have too but they’re still here. I have an entire collection of films as evidence of their cheating and will be happy to share them with anyone who need proof as long as they are gone from matchmaking.
I want see some clips , what are they doing? Invulnerable?
They have aimbot, I will upload four full games to my file share.

I dont think 343 really cares about an old game but there still should be some people out there that supervise the matchmaking and handle stuff like hackers and mod users.
Yet again, history repeats itself.
3 of my friends and I searched Anniversary Classic today and kept matching up against these two bums, not the usual two aimbotters we run into but a new pair. We got our -Yoinks!- handed to us, it was something else. I rewatched the films and as expected I see these guys hitting unreal shots, hitting me with shots while looking in a completely different direction and having the audacity to tbag us as if they actually out played us. For the record, my 3 buddies are ranked top 100 on halotracker for anniversary classic (I’m not as high ranked but can still pull my weight), so this is not a post complaining about losing but an ACTUAL problem that need to be addressed.
There’s only so much that can be done on 343i’s end in regards to in-game cheating, especially on a game that old. Best thing to do is play it passive and avoid, report and repeat if you come across players like that in Matchmaking. Nobody likes a cheater.
There is an automated ban system albeit an aged one and a skeleton crew managing things behind the scenes it’s apparently still active. I hear every now and then about people getting banned for this stuff usually modded service tags, the BUNGIE logo for example is a very common one to earn a ban. However this could be a DS2 situation where it’s a flimsy ban system strengthened by a swarm of rumors and misinformation. Like "a large 24 hour manned team monitoring for “suspicious activity”…
If someone reading this is thinking about trying it, I’d just like warn you the alleged bans are harsh. Multiplayer bans, console bans, that’s not something you really want to mess around with. In other words don’t
Given how sudden these “modders” showed up I wouldn’t be surprised if the system got quietly retired. Reach was spotless from this activity for years then just all of a sudden it’s in nearly every match. Kind of sad to see but then again the population is dwindling and stacked teams of sweaty inheritor K/D warriors farming spawns in any mode you can think of isn’t uncommon. These guys are just tipping the scales for the borrowed time they’re on.

I get that, but there has to be at least a couple of people employed by 343i to monitor the matchmaking and take out the trash. I dont like having to quit out of game because whoever is responsible for banning cheaters is slacking. The Xbox 360 is as good as useless.

Since you are running on the Xbox 360, may I make a suggestion. If you have a friend who is playing Halo: Reach on the Xbox One, play with them. This way, when you come across modders and cheaters, do the work to ensure you have their profile (As some use mods to mask it and you have to look at their profile to get their proper profile name) and made sure your friend recorded these people in the act on the Xbox One.
This way your friend can get links to said footage from XboxDVR (Which should be dated from the day it was recorded, showing when it happened), and then use the Xbox App to provide a detailed report in reporting these individuals through the app with links to the XboxDVR footage. This will maximize the odds of modders and cheaters being banned by the Xbox LIVE Enforcement for breaching Code of Conduct and Terms of use. Your friend then can also try to find an Xbox LIVE Ambassador on the Xbox Community Forums and send them a PM with the footage and explanation as well, and if they’re lucky enough, the ambassador can pass it up to LIVE Enforcement directly.
Unfortunately when it comes to Reach, there is a small maintenance team working on it as well as a small amount if any of people monitoring it. Also the banhammer in the game is aging with it, so I am sure people are finding ways to now bypass it, which could explain the recent increase of modders in Reach. Naturally, certain things like changing one’s nameplate or giving one’s self the Eternal Armor Effect for online would result in an insta-ban, but it looks like some other aspects have been figured out sadly and people are exploiting them.
