Yeah couple people didn’t believe just how royally screwed over I’ve been trying to get a DMR. As if the game is making me want to buy REQs… I’m sure if I bought that Warzone REQ Pack I’d get a damn DMR but I shouldn’t have to pay money for a base weapon in the game. I’ve been grinding out packs going from Bronze till it said I got all my common and uncommon REQ cards then I went to Silver and I’ve even tried Gold packs seeing how the base DMR is a Rare. But no the game is purposely not giving any DMRs to me. Level 51 already… unlock over half of the perm Rares.
I had the same issue, and finally had it about level 60-70.
And if you really want the DMR, buy only Silver pack and not gold. Gold cost two silver, so buying two silver means 4 chances of having a DMR…
There are a lot of level 70-80’s that do not have one yet. Its random luck.
I wouldn’t worry man at your level you have so many things to unlock yet, just keep hitting the silver packs from memory there are 6 DMR’s in there. Be patient you’ll get there 
I got a recon DMR with stabalizers in my first couple of Warzone REQs the first week :}
Thing is, with all the new REQs each update it gets harder to get the base game stuff as I think the DLC REQs have a higher chance to drop. Just keep buying silvers for now. That gives you the most chance to get at least a DMR.

Silver has Common >> Uncommon >> Rare
Legendary has Uncommon >> Rare >> Ultra Rare >> Legendary
And I already have a lot of my common and uncommon REQs unlocked so Silver is the only pack I get, I’ve boiled this down to statistical probability and I should have my DMR by now. I only have gotten a couple of gold packs where I got a bunch of legendary stuff. It’s purposely giving me everything BUT the DMR. Did you see how many DMR skins I have? It’s -Yoink-.
Its an RNG based system.
I got mine at level 16, though I prefer the BR.

i found it around 80, two of my friends around 30 and 40… it’s all luck
Didn’t get mine till 75 I had 100% on br and smg before I was able to get my first one. My son got his at level 15 I was not happy about that but just kept grinding away. It sucks but it one of the lottery ticket kinda deals if you don’t play you can’t win. I saw one guy was a 103 and still didn’t have one.

It’s hard to be patient when level 6 REQs rolls around on lot of Warzone maps. half the time you’re fighting it’s in long ranged battles. I have to find one on the ground or else I’m at a disadvantage. Even with Sentinel sights + long range barrels on my BR it’s hard to beat DMRs. The best I can hope for is get a couple hits to force them to take cover then go in closer. When I can pick one up they’re extremely useful and net me tons of kills cause that’s my favorite weapon.
This luck based system for weapons doesn’t work in Halo. In Black Ops 3 there are certain types of weapons you won’t get till a certain level. But at least there you’re guaranteed to get it and the game doesn’t force you to fight without a class of weapons. Like you’ll start off with a base sniper rifle, you’ll unlock different sniper rifles later but you have access to that type of weapon.
I got mine a few days ago at lvl 51, but its a purly random system so i wouldnt worry about it, it will happen eventually.

I’m comparing the mechanics. Plus they’ve added a lot of different mechanics from other shooters so it’s hard to not notice. The Halo REQs or weapon chest are not a good addition to this game, Halo is great in its own way and I don’t want CoD in my Halo games… Although now that I think about it, in what other competitive online shooter do you play for months on end and never unlock the BASE weapons? I think Battlefield has you go through a long process of unlocking everything but you don’t go months without a base weapon.

Warzone is a casual playlist. It’s meant to not be perfectly balanced or competitive. Arena is where the competition lies.
It took me a while to get the DMR. You can always find them on the battlefield as well.

It’s still a competitive game, and seeing how I need REQ points badly the Arena just doesn’t give out as much points. Even if you do well with a boost.
Hm, I figured their tactic to sell REQ packs was to clog the game with pointless cosmetic items. Armor that’s identical, save for a few stripes of white paint.
I found my DMR when I was lvl 43… And Ive never bought packs with real money, i think is just lucky

I figure you’re absolutely right! I shouldn’t have 2 legendary, 2 ultra rare and a bunch of other DMR skins for a gun I haven’t even unlocked yet.
I think I got my DMR at level 74, it took forever.
