Which Halo characters may not survive in the upcoming Halo Infinite?

Tough to say without knowing who will actually be in the game. If Palmer makes it into the game, I can see her making some big sacrifice. Maybe Lasky could go the way of Captain Keyes. Not the Flood infection route (though who knows), but the whole “go down with the ship” idea could work if the Infinity is destroyed.
I’m expecting Cortana to die and the Created to be defeated by the end of the Campaign.

Expecting and hoping. I don’t mind if they find a way to save Cortana via some manner like say “another model” or something (which was her fear in Halo 4), but the Darth Cortana that’s leading the Created should be laid to rest.

Honestly, I do t want any version of Cortana to come back or be invented after this whole story arc is over with. I was against her coming back after her amazing exit in Halo 4, and what was done to her in Halo 5 was a disaster. she should die and stay dead forever.

Fair enough; I just cited the “other model” thing as a way they could fall back on if they really, really wanted to do it instead of some unbelievable “Cure the evil Cortana!” thread. Cortana is at the end of the day an AI, and they can always make another. It just won’t be the ‘original’.
However, in that case I’d rather just a full blown new AI partner come into play. Nothing wrong with new characters - Roland grew on me real fast.

For sure, and hell, it’d be cool if Chakas/Spark somehow becomes his AI companion. Unlikely, but that’d be kinda cool.

Roland’s pretty cool, I like his sense of humor. Not as snarky as Selina or Cortana, but he’s cool. Plus he didn’t defect so that’s another plus.
I’d love, love, love for Spark to return to the games in some way, but I get this feeling that if he ever does it’ll be in a Spin-Off. After 4 and 5, I get this feeling that 343’s going to start toning down the amount of EU references in the games to appeal to people who never get involved with the material 
Or at the very least, just not make the plot circle around needing a hefty knowledge of said material; there’s always things like the Terminals too.
I’d honestly like to see Spark and John come face to face again, now that Spark’s had his redemption arc and all that. Come to think of it… I wonder if there’ll be any story - in-game or otherwise - about what the Ace of Spades crew is up to during the uh, Created Uprising. I’d like to know Spark’s take on all that upheaval (And if Intrepid Eye didn’t go down with the Argent Moon, what she’d think of all this)

Same here, after all that guy’s been through he at least deserves to make it back to the Infinity or wherever there’s some friendly faces to be found. As for the IV’s, if they manage to work Buck into the game he had BETTER be one of the survivors. D:<

Wellll the Tech’s who woke Chief up had families too. One of them died clutching a photo of their family actually… So the fact that he has a family and went through some tough times does not make him immune to the curse of all those before who woke the Chief up:
CE Techs = dead
H2 Armorer = dead
H3 Johnson = dead
H4 Cortana = dead
Absent H5, the Chief has been woken up or confronted or whatever by someone who later dies. So it’s not looking good for Brohammer lol.

My best guess is that the story would be like this: “chief unites with arbiter. Takes a full on battle with flood and cortana’s guardians resulting in the destruction of a segment of the ring and also the Demise of some characters such as arbiter,Sarah Palmer and the whole crew of infinity (including blue team ,except John, and fire team). This depressees chief a lot and motivating him to take down Cortana in more brutal way. Cortana mbeing angry of chief somehow tries to wipe out all the species. Chief somehow stops and while doing so kills her. Chief would be again depressed and sad of loosing Cortana and the only family he had. But then approaches the Dr Halsey . Handing him over the Cortana ,just like we see during her interrogation in halo 4. This might be a copy she made during halo reach.”
