Am I the only one having trouble logging on to Halo Channel? …
Earlier I was able to log on with no trouble … As soon as I redeemed the Halo Nightfall code, Halo Channel won’t log on … It keeps saying that I have to go to xbox.com and log in … After doing that - nothing happens and then the same message pops up …
Also … Every time I try logging on through Halo Channel, it just says “Halo Channel is currently unavailable” …
Anybody stumbled onto a similar problem ? … Any ideas on how to correct it? …

Can you please try uninstalling and reinstalling Halo Channel to see if this resolves the issue? If the error message returns, can you please take a snapshot of it? We use a unique set of images to help us understand what the problem is.
Are you seeing theses issues on Xbox One or Windows 8.1?
I had this problem on Xbox One yesterday and today. I uninstalled the app and then installed it. It works fine now.

Are you seeing the yellow loading logo screen or the animated logo screen with the gray background?

I got it working a few hours after I posted the first time …
However, I get one of two images every other time I try to log on to the Halo Channel (On Windows 8.1) …
Either a picture of Spartan being assassinated … Or a Grunt Plushie … I usually close the app, wait an X amount of time (usually about an hour) then try again … And then it works fine … However, this does happen every other time I log on…
I’ve had "Channel Unavailable " for a day now. How DO you uninstall the app? I can’t find an uninstall button, only an unpin button.
Uninstall and reinstall worked for me today. Go to “My Apps”, select Halo Channel, hit the “Menu” button on your controller and then select Manage Apps, from here you can uninstall the app. Just stay on this screen and it will allow you to reinstall the app after the uninstall. Then go back to your apps and select Halo Channel.
I had this issue for over a month but this morning I figured out what the problem was (for me at least).
Every time I opened the halo channel up, it would show a loading screen but then show a Plush toy saying ‘Halo channel unavailble, please check back soon’.
I tried uninstall, re-install etc. No luck.
Note that I had my xbox one connected to my PC 24" HP monitor. It works fine for EVERYTHING else.
Turns out, Halo Channel does NOT like it! I disconnected the xbox one and connected it to my main living room TV and bingo, Halo Channel now works!!
It might be something along the lines of the EDDID which comes from HDMI connected monitors which the halo channel, might be interpretting as a capture card?? and blocking it.
So for those on xbox one, who are seeing this, at least those who are running it using a monitor, please try using a TV.
I finally can now download the Halo 5 beta and I will then switch back to the monitor and hopefully the beta won’t be as fussy as the halo channel itself.

SAME! it was fine yesterday morning then after the app update, this^. I’m in the preview program on XB1, possibly that is messing with the app. It’s full of bugs the preview program/new home menu.
The App is down for me as well, mine stopped working yesterday after i had an update around 4pm eastern time
I got the master chief halo collection day before.
Reinstalled the app.
It finally showed “welcome (my name)”
and the screen turns black!
Still ll wondering what’s wrong!
