I’d like to change my username on here because my gamertag is horrendous and since I do not own an Xbox I can’t change my gamertag. Help?
If you haven’t already used up your free gamertag change, you can change it from here - https://account.xbox.com/en-GB/changegamertag
If you have used your free change, then you will unfortunately need either an Xbox One or a 360 to make the change, you can’t do it on the website (which would be nice, I might vote for that on Uservoice) - you can do this on any console though, so you could borrow a friend’s to make the change. Remember that if you already used your free change, there is a charge for changing it. So you will need to be able to add or have a payment option like a Visa or Paypal on your account. Seems as if I’ve used my free change 
Looks like I’ll have to recruit a friend to do it or see if they add the feature to Windows 10 Xbox app.
Hey fellas, sorry for the basic question, but can I clarify: if I change my gamertag, will I keep my stats? From what I can tell I lose Halo 2, but keep Halo 3, ODST, Reach and Halo 4?
That sounds about right. You might need to load up and play a game or do something in-game for each Halo, just to make sure it pushes data back across. It may not sync up straight away.
