If you could change anything in the Halo Universe, what would it be and why?
I’d make it so Cortana wasn’t a bad guy in the new game(s). I grew up with her as my guide and sole companion in the other games. To have her suddenly turn against humanity…it was not an enjoyable plot twist. I would rather her be dead and enjoy the memories of kicking butt with such an awesome AI sidekick. I’m sad 343i resurrected her just to turn her into a seemingly rather shallow antagonist.

Apparently, Cortana turned out to do both. She died a hero and lived long enough for herself to become the villian.
I would change Jul 'Mdama not dying in the first cutscene.

That would have been another good change to make. I think they planned to use him in the story arc, but then changed their minds and decided to bring Cortana back as the bad guy, so they just dumped him in the trash at the earliest possible convenience.

I would make a Halo Reach 2, where we find out that at the end of the first Halo Reach that Noble Six was transported into an alternate universe where Noble Team survived and the Covenant were driven of Reach.

The designs post bungie. Yeesh, Halo 4/5 did not look good. Those poor, poor elites.
That, or the prometheans. They suck. I’d rather have the two types of sentinels and the enforcers from Halo 2. And maybe some new type so it doesn’t seemed rehashed, maybe like a scarab-like thing that moves and attacks you and has to be boarded, or a slow moving flying guy with a charge-up sniper.
