Changing Microsoft Email when loggin on first time

I purchased the Halo MCC via Steam on PC.
upon trying to sign in with my Microsoft account for the first time I used an email with pending security changes. now it wont let me change the email address.

I have tried uninstalling the game and re installing but it still comes up with the same message about pending security changes

same thing happened to me and i cannot change it, re installed 4 times

Delete everything in C:\Users(your user ID)\AppData\LocalLow\MCC and it might give you a chance to log in again. Worked for me and I can now play the game. If you don’t know, you can get to appdata faster by opening your file explorer and typing %appdata%
