Really like what I’ve played of the beta, however my biggest complaint is the kill cam. In Halo, where every weapon is unique and there are very few nooks and crannies, I feel that I never ask myself “how did I just die?”. This is the question a kill cam is meant to solve, and it serves its purpose in games like Call of Duty. Here, however, it seems unnecessary, and it feels jarring to cut to it immediately after death. If I choose to skip it, I cut to spectator mode for only 2 seconds before respawning. To prevent this from happening, I would much prefer to simply have to camera follow my body (as in Halo’s past) and have a buttom prompt that would allow me to view the kill cam if I so choose.
That would destroy the functionality of the kill-cam. If someone “opted” in, it would likely be too late for them to see the full clip. I simply make it a habit to mash the button that skips it whenever I die. Simple as that.
It could easily be a menu option, they clearly like giving you a lot of those.
Killcam is terrible in the sense that when it fades to black for a second and you cant even look at the scoreboard. Also medals dont appear so you will never know if your last grenade killed someone. Make it optional please

Ideally if they did opt in, the clip would play in its entirety before respawning the player. And mashing the button to skip it when you die is not an ideal practice.

This is also a great point. Some of my most favorite kills in Halo have been “death from the grave” grenade kills. With the kill cam, we never get to see these play out.
