After playing infinates first two levels on legendary it becomes so obvious why we need to be able to select difficulty on a per mission basis and have an ability to replay them.
I breazed through the first mission on legendary, the majority of the second one was great too, it has exactly the right level of challenge, until you get to the last elevator
I played that section for over an hour and a half, the amount of insta deaths on respawn was ridiculous, the only conceivable way is to cheese it, I used the plasma weapons to knock out his Shields and bombard him with nades and kinetic fire but it would do little and I’d die a few seconds later.
The problem is I couldn’t just start that mission on Heroic, I had to restart the campaign on heroic, I literally walked through the levels to the fight and beat him first time. I’m shocked that level difficulty selection isn’t a thing, because if this happened any length of time after the 2nd mission I’d probably just drop the game, I don’t want to have to replay a load of content on an easier difficulty because one boss fight is too cheesey
