Is it wise to make a new gamerprofile when halo 4 comes out,
Meaning: Even though My gamerscore is very high and I have all the achievements for halo 3 halo reach and halo 3 ODST.
Do the achievements even matter?
Im only asking because I am getting a halo 4 xbox and I want to be sure that any past halo gamerscore or achievement or rank doesn’t carry over to halo 4
I need you guys opinion. Do you think the achievements and gamerscore matters?
Any particular reason as to why you would do that? I just don’t see the point of making a new gamer profile when you can just use the one you’ve been using now.
Im asking for opinion, lets say you are getting the halo 4 xbox and you already got all the achievements for halo 3 reach and ODST, would you make a new profile and play halo 4?

I did it. I’m cheevo crazy :). but keep your old one incase :).
> the only waypoint exclusive armor i see is halo reach… do you have a link to possible halo 4 waypoint armor?
I’m sure there’s a link floating around somewhere, but I’m too lazy to find it. At some point Wolfkill mentioned that there would be Waypoint exclusives like in Reach.

No because there’s absolutely no reason to. Why are you saying you even want to? Because you are getting a new console?.. if so I can’t say that makes any sense at all.
Um, no. I would just use the same profile I’ve used for years. What’s the point of making a new profile for Halo 4 when I can just use the same one I’ve always used?
I really don’t understand what you’re getting at with starting a new profile when you already have one.
a couple people told me that the achievements and gamerscore is useless and it cant benefit you in anyway, which led me to believe that well even tho i had my tag for years I should make a new gamer profile, but after reading the comments it does seem pointless to make a new gamer profile on my new console when i already have a gamer profile…

I still don’t understand why you even considered it? Due to the fact that gamerscore and achievements are useless (they aren’t), you should make a new profile? What? That’s just a waste man.

you are wrong about this. what i am about to say has nothing to do with halo. if you sign up for halo rewards and have over 15000 gamer score they will give you something free on your birthday. and waypoint does have some armor that you can get idk if its affected by achievements though.

Don’t stress it when it comes to Armor and other exclusive crap. Look at the reach exclusives through way-point. They all suck and are terrible. I don’t even know anyone or see anyone wearing that armor.
Once you get to like level 30 and have all the other armor, you’ll be using it. Besides if you getting the console you get that fotus armor anyways.
