Changes to Xbox DVR, good or bad?

The Xbox DVR has been updated and now Players can choose whether a video is uploaded to Xbox Live, One drive or whether it just sits on your Xbox hard drive.

What do you think of the changes? At the moment I’m a little negative as I can’t figure out how to save video captures like I could a few days ago.

It is hopeless the banisement.

  • When a player teleports to avoid a ball or a player who does not die while one he tir above, me leave because needs not to stay because otherwise the cheaters win.
  • when you are disconnected from the waiter for an unknown reason, it is shameful to see that your statistics are affected and that you are banished.
    It is really shameful

I’m thinking that something has gone wrong using google translate

So, how’d you get the update and how are you uploading to OneDrive and such? Is it like it will upload it automatically when a clip is created?

When I create a video capture it is no longer automatically uploaded to Xbox live. When I open the Game DVR there is a new interface and I can choose to manage captures on Xbox live, one drive or my Xbox hard drive.

Since unsaved captures are deleted after 30 days I’d like to know how we go about saving them. I used to be able to select a capture, press the menu button and then be able to save it.

Unfortunately that is no longer the case

It doesn’t auto upload anymore? And yeah how do you save?? It’s confusing but I am probably gonna figure it out.

You can turn auto upload on and off now

When you figure out how to save post it here please

I do not know what you guys are talking about.Bye off to another thread

I’m thinking that I might have gotten the system update earlier than some other people. It’s annoying because I make a lot of Halo clips and while the ability to choose what gets uploaded to Xbox live is nice, I’d like to know how to save clips so they aren’t deleted every 30 days.

I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t like more options.

More options is good. If Microsoft cleared up whether:

i) Xbox captures are still temporary or not; and ii) if they are temporary, then how they can be saved, then it would be even better.

As I’ve said since my first post, this is the only negative I can see.

I miss the upload channel…Xbox Live has downgraded in so many ways. You only see clips from the same people.

I guess I don’t have this update yet. I assume if you can’t save clips that they aren’t temporary and saved right off the bat. That or it’s just more complicated to save now, which wouldn’t surprise me.
