I like Halo 4 so far, but some changes NEED to be made to keep Halo 4 being enjoyable.
Playlists
I like the idea of rotational playlists but I don’t like that playlists that should always be there are rotational at the moment. The rotational weekly playlist should be a bonus playlist. The standard playlists should be:
FFA (Slayer, Regicide, KOTH, Oddball, Slayer Pro?) (8 people)
Multi Team (Slayer, KOTH, Oddball, Team Regicide?) (2v2v2v2)
Team Slayer (Infinity Slayer, Slayer, Slayer Pro?) (4v4 or 5v5)
BTB (Infinity Slayer, Slayer, CTF) (8v8)
Team Objective (KOTH, Oddball, CTF, Team Regicide?) (4v4 or 5v5)
Team SWAT (4v4)
Team Snipers (4v4)
Flood (8 - 10 people)
Dominion (6v6)
MLG (4v4)
Weekly Rotational Playlist (For example: Grifball, Fiesta, Rocket Race)
Ranked
Since you get 5x as much EXP for ending a game than for winning a game, there isn’t really a motivation for people to play well. Also, not everyone cares about helmets and specializations, they want a reason to play well (a visible rank). That’s why ranked really is a MUST for this game.
Forge Maps
Since the new map pack won’t be coming with a single small competetive map, it really is time to put some forged maps into Matchmaking. I mean, Haven and Solace are quite fun but getting them 30 times in a row gets repetitive.
Infection customization
In Halo 3 and Reach creative forgers could make some amazing and enjoyable infection modes, which could make people play customs with friends all day long. Now that Flood has almost no customization at all this is basically ruined. This has to change as soon as possible.
Theater mode
I still don’t get it. In Halo 3 you could watch theater with 3 friends. Ok this had some problems sometimes but they were not too hard to solve. Why did they take this out in Reach and Halo 4? I don’t see a good reason and it has to be brought back.
I probably forgot some things but these are the thing I can come up with right now that are absolutely a MUST for this game.
