I recently changed the WLID associated with my Gamertag, so I went to sign into that Live ID on waypoint, and it wouldn’t let me since the account would have the same username as this one. Is there a way I can change the username on this account, or select a different one on the account I’m trying to use?
This website isn’t like Bungie.net which I’m sure you’re quite familiar with.
The Xbox Live name linked to your Windows Live ID automatically becomes your username on the Waypoint forums. To change your Waypoint username, you must also change your gamertag since they are practically the same.
But, I don’t wanna change my GT.
Anyone else have any help, plox?
Let me get this straight: You had your account linked to ID1. You changed your account to ID2. You signed into Waypoint forums with ID2, but it would not let you sign in. What sort of error message did you get?

I’ve had this issue. You are basically stuck using an alt for now. BS Angel said that the next iteration will hopefully get rid of the issue and update the information so you can use the account again, but it’s not for sure.

Ok. This account was linked to ID1, but I changed the GT associated with ID1 and this account. Now, when trying to sign in with ID2, it told me to make a new account with the username of SpazticWonder(which is this account) and after clicking submit, it said username is already taken. And I’m not changing my GT, I just don’t have the money right now.
