My old gamertag was Critical Jeff. I purchased MCC on steam and logged into my xbox account and it took the Critical Jeff name. I changed my name on xbox.com to Tesseract, but MCC still shows the Critical Jeff name.
There is a common issue with information syncing up between Xbox & PC. When crossplay becomes possible in the later future, this should get fixed.
