Right now, Spartan Ops is the best way to earn XP and level up fast, especially if you’re playing matchmaking, where the reward for each is nearly 6,000 XP with 4 players.
What bugs me is that the ammount of XP you is based on the number of players; NOT the level of difficulty. Which stinks, because I prefer to play Spartan Ops solo on Heroic, as I find it more fun to just play by myself (namely because there’s no lag).
The way I see it, Spartan Ops rewards should go more like this:
Easy - 1,500 XP
Normal - 3,000 XP
Heroic - 4,500 XP
Legendary - 6,000 XP
Grinding Spartan Ops solo on Legendary would be better than having to put up with the horrendous lag in S-Ops matchmaking. The only reason I play S-Ops MM is for XP and Achievements. If I want to play just for fun, I go solo.
