Change ticket depletion to company of heroes style

From what I have read and played so far. People are saying and I agree that the games are fairly short, also they don’t like domination it’s not an rts game mode.

There is already an entire game based on domination game play it’s a fairly good game on the pc called company of heroes. One of the main differences is the way the tickets are depleted. For instance if you had 3 points and your opponent had 2 they would lose 1 point per tick whilst you lose none. Currently the halo wars 2 system seems to be you would lose 2 tickets and they would. This makes the game end much sooner and makes it more difficult to get to higher tier units and have large battles. Perhaps changing this system would improve domination.

I would prefer them do this if anything to domination outside if removing it entirely. It just doesn’t really have a place I my opinion. Company of Heroes is also far deeper than Halo Wars 2 since it involves garrisoning units and placing them in cover and flanking.

I personally am really enjoying Domination. While it was a bad choice for a beta gametype, it would be really good for if you want to play but can’t dedicate an entire hour to a match. I agree some changes need to take place, but for the full game I would prefer it if Domination is a quick gamemode for when you can’t play a long one.

If people actually fought for the points im sure the matches would last longer. I’ve yet to get that luxury though.

That’s my point though the game won’t last that much longer because your points constantly decrease.Even if you switch over from 3 to 2 and 2 to 3 they still disappear pretty fast.

Also whilst not opposed to a shorter game type it would be nice to know if that was their intention. With people complaining about the games ending too quickly and saying domination is a bad game type for rts I was trying to give a positive example where I have had 45 min to in excess of an hour long games which have been very enjoyable. Almost a dont blame the game type blame the implementation.
