CHANGE THE weekly… A weekly should not be based off going against bad players and getting lucky. Should be earn 3 killing sprees. Or get 100 kills or something like that
I reckon it’s a bit too late to change it now, but I hope 343 are seeing the feedback for this event because the Ultimate is attrocious. It makes players who want it either play badly and feed, and/or get riled up at those who get a Killjoy without being on said weekly mission.
Fiesta has made me a better player as it’s made me adapt to the different weapons and their appliance, but getting Killjoys does not encourage good habits.
They should just award it to everyone. It’s so goofy that they made such a specific challenge that can’t be done by you being good at the game.
It’s based on going against good players and slaying them to stop their killing sprees. Just hunt people running around with swords, usually helps.
Not to be rude … The challenge is RNG im an Onyx player. And the challenges in this game are straight dumb.
They should have one like get 10 Killing Sprees or get 200 Kills in Fiesta … RNG challenges’ are dumb.
I disagree with it being RNG, ‘random number generation’ has little to do with this other than the weapons you start with. The problem is that in order to increase your chances of succeeding, you have to:
- Feed the opposition / Wait for them to build up sprees.
- Let opponents weaken said opposition, with or without correct use of pinging, comms, etc.
- Hope you get the last hit on the opposition.
That requires skill, timing and enemies to work in your favour, but it discourages teamplay, which is still required for other people who may not be on that weekly but may be on “Win Fiesta Matches.” This Ultimate not only wastes Ultimate mission players’ time, but the time of everyone else on the team knowingly or otherwise being used as pawns for this mission.
I don’t disagree with Shaedlaer’s advice of going against the sword users, but that doesn’t guarantee you’ll survive or get the killing blow. I’d say one Killjoy should be enough, but that may give the wrong impression of this mission being suitable.
