It really bothers you that much? They made the game, they can spell it however they want. And next time, don’t use Caps Lock. Nobody likes reading all caps.

LightRifle is still better than the french translation… “Fusil léger” (léger, translated to english = light/lightweight) i dont see it as LightweightRifle

Make sure you send that same memo over to 343, apparently they think people like reading in full caps.
I always viewed it as the ‘Light Rifle’ but I’m stuck with an average SDTV and I wouldn’t be able to tell if there was a space ; )

Out of curiosity, exactly how did you/they/whomever reach the decision to use ‘LightRifle’ over ‘Lightrifle’ or ‘Light Rifle’? Surely it’s the least obvious choice…

That’s Cortana’s fault! The weapon “molded” itself in your hands, and SHE NAMED IT!
I call it “The Springer”. When shooting un-scoped it reminds me of a spring.

Is there a reason for the inconsistent weapon name usage though?
For example, in the commendations it tracks “Sticky Detonator” kills, but if happens to be somebody’s tool of destruction in-game it is referred to as the “Sticky Grenade Launcher/Detonator” (I don’t remember which but I just know it isn’t the same). There is also the Pistol and the Magnum (commendation vs in-game) even though they are the same weapon
Just seems odd to me
With all the problems halo 4 has…
