An idea that just popped into my head, Why not change the guys guarding the home bases of the teams in Warzone to ODSTs.
I kinda want to see them and they could be made to be tougher and do more damage than the normal Marines there. Maybe they could have different weapon setups too.

Maybe spartans but thats my opinion
spartans would be OP but odsts with shotguns would do however once killed i would provide free shotties to the enemies which can be used against the team guarding the core so that would be a bad idea but general odsts with better aim and health would be fine
At least they won’t be one shot to the head hopefully

Yeah! Also make a commendation for ODST’s kills, for example if you kill 250 ODST, you will get the Halo 3: ODST’s silenced SMG.

Marines in WZ remind me of Covenant Grunts lmao. Cheap nasty cannon fodder. The only difference is the Covenant deploy them en mass where as you only have a handful of Marines defending your WZ bases.

Hey what if in the new Warzone maps they release, certain maps will have ODST’s instead of Marines!?
I hopefully want a nighttime new Mombasa Warzone map.
Interesting take…I can get behind this. Either that, or simply increase the number of marines defending the core.

This would be great.
ODST’s should guard wazone cores with silenced smgs. Better health than marines at least two headshots to the head. Also have them be able to get in friendly vehicles. Also silenced SMG from halo 3 ODST should be a use able weapon

Or you know just equip a silenced smg, too much nostalgia is not a good thing.
Something Like a grunt thing in reach where you have to hit them twice in the head or something like that. They can have a wide range of UNSC weapons. I like the idea a lot
The Marines are very op
Just play from EU, marines can be kinda hard to kill then 
anyways, cool idea, I like it.
I like it. But the main defense against the core are not the Marines, but the Spartans. Marines should be fairly easy since Spartans are tough enough.

If we’re talking ODST pipe dreams (which is what this is), I’d rather see them as a REQ that you call in ala drop pod at level 9 to accompany you as a small fireteam around your spartan. That would be how I’d enjoy seeing ODST’s come back.
