The title has already been confirmed to be Halo 5, why can’t 343 change the name of this forum? It’s just a little thing but it’s bugging me.

I do not believe 343i has officially given “Halo Xbox One” the title of Halo 5.
So, with that being said, you can expect the forum to keep its name until 343i officially releases the games name.
When they decide to formally announce the official title for the next game, I’m sure they’ll change the forum name. Until then, Halo Xbox One works just as well.
That was an accidental release, not official.
343i won’t change the name of the forum until they officially release it. And for all we know, the Halo 5 logo could have been purposely removed from the final version of the trailer due to them deciding that they didn’t want the upcoming game to be Halo 5, but something else entirely.
Unless 343i explicitly says something about it themselves, take any information about the game that you see with a grain of salt.

Halo Xbox One isn’t even a possible final name for the game, it’s just a placeholder. Also, we all know that the game will end up being Halo 5 after all, so there’s no point to worry about it.
They have not officaly confirmed it i think they wait for the next trailer announcement or something.

It doesn’t matter if it sounds weird or not. It’s what we’ve got so we’ll all have to deal with it until 343 decides to tell us what the next game’s name is.
