In many gametypes that are in the Halo 4 we have the power to auto respawn by pressing X. It is a neat feature that I neither hate or love.
But the problem here is that when a teammate betrays me on purpose, I (and many others) press X to respawn. In that moment we may sometimes get the message to boot a player by pressing X. This causes us to boot players by accident.
I think the logical choice for the boot button should be A. Because X is used for respawning. Y is used to change Load Outs. B is used to not boot the player. While A has no function while on the death screen.
So please can we as a community get 343i to change the button for booting players.
Or better yet, make it so the player doesn’t receive the boot option for 5 seconds and has to watch a replay of how their death happened. That way they don’t just automatically boot you out of habit. I’ve already had it happen to me after I ran into some derp flying through the man cannon.

Good idea. However you can still get those people that want to boot player becuase they think it is funny. The only problem with the highlighted part is that you will not get to use respawn automatically. But the betray came is in the the game.
