In any case, neither Bungie nor 343i allow you to change/edit your Nameplate anymore. Bungie stopped doing fileshare/rendering/screenshots etc. Most of that should be on this site sometime during the summer.
As for Nameplates though, they won’t be coming back. So if you’ve got a specific NP on right now that you don’t want…you’re stuck like that forever.

Hmm, that’s disappointing. How come they’ve decided to stop allowing changes? I know Bungie ran the whole thing and what not but you would have thought that seeing as 343i now run things they’d be able to set it back up again?

A few of the nameplates were completely unrelated to Halo, like the Durandal, Septagon & Bungie one, meaning it had no place here.
But the main reason, time constraints.

That may be, but that excuse is used to many times and quite frankly, I doubt it’s that difficult to get the systems up and running again. It’s too easy nowadays to be lazy and just say that because of time, we can’t do something. If they really cared they would put the extra effort in. Sorry to sound stubborn but it’s not a very valid excuse for such a little feature to be brought back up to speed.

343 should bring the name plates or at least allow bungie to run its site like it always did with all of your halo stats. Time constraint is no exuse for something as simple as a nameplate. Bungie and 343 worked together to make halo reach so I am sure that they can do it in a matter of minutes. I am upset because I had the bungie nameplate on (go bungie) and now I have no nameplate after the 343 takeover.
i dont give a crap about nameplates. i probably will rarely play reach anyway come november. they are pointless anyway. who cares if theres a little logo beside your gamertag, the emblem is enough. quit -Yoinking!- you noobs
