I love just about everything else about halo 5 so far but one thing that bothers me is the lighting and mood of Eden. Those who’ve played the beta know what I’m talking about. Eden was a cool night time map in the beta with rain and lightning in the background. But now the sky is purple, too visible or not dark enough for a night time map, and I’m pretty sure they got rid of the rain and lightning to. I know it sounds like I’m complaining over a small thing but I liked this map in the beta because of its unique atmosphere, something I didn’t get in halo before. Compare what was seen in the games com arena B-roll to the beta. I know it was because blue team was barely visible at distances but I’m sure they could’ve came up with a different solution, maybe even put lights in some areas with long lines of sight. Hopefully they’ll change this before the game comes out if enough people complain.
I doubt it’s going to change drastically, they might adjust it subtly but probably not by much.
Before anyone reports this thread, check his post history - I doubt it’s “that user” and is a legitimate comment on the map.
Not this again
It was too dark in the beta. A lot of people (myself included) had trouble seeing the enemies, weapons, and even certain areas of the map. I’m sure what we saw on the B-roll isn’t the final look of the map, there are probably some tweaks to come. But brightening up the space is definitely not a bad thing.

It wasn’t that dark, also with outlines on weapons, it shouldn’t be a problem anymore. I wish this map would be reverted to the original.
