Change Doubles back to how it was!

At the beginning of Halo 4, just after the first time scrapping of Slayer Pro, people who wanted to play competetively urged for the introduction of playlists to suit, or the return of Slayer Pro. Some time later came the intrduction of Doubles & Team Throwdown, where the automatic weapon sprayfest was eliminated. These playlists took us at least one step back to the roots of Halo.

However, with the recent playlist updates the aweful sprayfest which is Infinity Slayer has returned to Doubles. Every game has the option of infinity slayer as the first option. If that’s not bad enough, the second option is usually Legendary Slayer with the Radar enabled which again reduces the skill required and generally removes the anticipation for those unexpected encounters with the enemy. For me as mainly a Doubles player, Halo has once again returned to the COD clone it was shortly after launch.

Please change Doubles back to how it was, or a at the very least balance the options better!

The AR is a lot more competitive in Halo 4 than it was in previous games, so that’s not a problem to me. Nor do I mind the motion tracker (it’s not a radar) in Legendary Slayer. However, I loathe Infinity Slayer, and for some reason, it’s being picked a lot more often recently, even though it’s always been a voting option.

IMO, Legendary is better than Pro.

I cant remember when I played without radar in Halo 3s Ranked Team Doubles.

I hate to play without radar so Im just happy that I never have to play without.
Legendary BRs is the best.

They should remove the “go back to lobby glitch” in the voting option first.

ledendary is not better than pro. The proximity of the motion tracker “radar”, is way to large. They arnt going to fix anything the remainder of the population is casual. So In their best interest they need to suit them. The game is dead.

Halo 3’s radar was smaller and made crouching useful. Currently you would have to do that as soon as you spawn or they would know exactly where you were if they are in the middle of the map.

Sprint, Flinch, Footsteps, Radar, Weapon Times, RailGun, People backing out, and infinity settings have all ruined this playlist…

2v2 is about teamwork and synergy. Having Map awareness was vital in other halo games. But with the implementation of the huge radar and these loud footsteps people can pinpoint you off of spawn by standing in the middle of the map and listening. Removes any team pushes, flankings, setups, and mind games. The fact doubles are all smaller maps sprint ruins everysingle one. And certain Affinity can not make a map.

Only positive from the legendary br’s is that they’re no weapon indicators.

Its the second most competitive playlist since its been in halo. to be truthful inifinity and legendary should be removed. I feel like you shouldnt get to vote and you get a random map/gametype and you play it. KOTH and oddball need to be brought back. Tired of this flagnum crap, CTF was ruined from the get-go.
