Change and get rid of previous keyboard controls

I know how to change the controls for keyboard but how do I get rid of the previous one that is there. If I try to change it, it just adds what I chose to what is already there.

Have you ever assigned keys before? Just put in the key already assigned to remove it. Took me 2 seconds.

I just got a laptop 2 months ago I haven’t played many windows games yet
