I think it’s a lot of fun. Ricochet is a really good gamemode.

I’ve only played one game of ricochet and it was a lot of fun, even though my team lost. The extras are nice, too. Seeing the new stances is a nice (purely cosmetic, but still a change of pace. though there are two or three that people are tending to favor).
my only grievance, and it’s small, is the way the mark V is a little strange looking to me (and a lot of people are using it). though that is just personal preference of a cosmetic that doesn’t mean much.
I played around on the maps to get a feel for them. Pitfall is cool, this is my first time playing on it (halo 4 is my first foray into halo multiplayer) and was where I played the ricochet game. It felt right with 4v4 (not too big not too small), defensible “home” areas with plenty of center movement to get around. I haven’t played a match on vertigo, but ran around it in forge. That may get a few corner campers. but overall the map was good looking.

It’s on Pitfall for now. So far haven’t seen it on anything else.
