"Champions DLC doesn't work in Spartan Ops?"

> > >

27 seconds, that’s pretty precise. You got this down to a science.

And the yoinking is hilarious, don’t know why you’re so upset. I’m pointing out that your analogy fails because your analogy points to a situation where the disclosure is clearly necessary (the materiality of “eat this and die” and unquestioned), whereas the functionality of a given armor and weapon skin in a gametype that was never mentioned in the bundle’s services doesn’t quite reach that threshold.

See the point? Nothing to get upset about. Lol, calling people inbred.

> Jesus -Yoinking!- Christ, I’m done arguing with you. You obviously don’t know what a god -Yoink!- analogy is, besides the same concept/theory, the analogy doesn’t relate to the point I’m trying to make. I don’t even know why I’m explaining it to your inbred -Yoink!-, you wouldn’t retain it for more than 27 seconds anyway.

Wow your as bad as my step mother longhorn. She would tell ya the sky was red if it meant proving you wrong.

This is the third time you’ve called me omniscient. Flattering, to say the least.

Tell her to focus on your use of you’re/your. Maybe she could get some headway there.

Longhorn, Nothing you say is making anyone who is upset with the bundle any less so.

You are doing a remarkable job of making everyone dislike you, however. If you jumped on the thread to provide your opinion, mission accomplished (and then some). We don’t need you hanging around and treating other people’s opinions like dirt.

Dude I’m on my phone the damn thing replaces words. YOU’RE pathetic. Once again you can’t even tell the difference between grammer and spelling. Go back to school. And if you did go to college you wasted money. Later I’m out. And I really hope to God that the next guy you come into contact with, and you belittle him the way you have everyone else on here, knocks YOUR’RE teeth done your throat.

I think we are screwed.

My reasoning for this is that when we had the weapon tuning (Vehicles grenades and weapons), it did not apply to Spartan Ops at all - only War games. And you had to do some transferring of files to even get the tuned / updated War Games maps to stick for Custom Local games too.

So I think Spartan Ops is the forgotten step child going forward. That is really too bad because it would be great to try out the new tuned weapons and vehicles against the Covenant and Prometheans in a non laggy environment.

So to play spartan ops I have to delete the dlc?

so I bought the DLC, doesn’t work in Spartan Ops, its the biggest killjoy to this pack, such a awesome hyped pack to get ruined on the day because of this

> Wait so what will happen then if you wear ODST, Mk V or Prefect and then play Spartan Ops? Do you just have no armor or something lol

you get given Default recruit armour, your skins are stripped and your class gets stripped of the perks

So… Has 343 made an official statement on this…?

“Yes, we’re fixing it,” “No, just deal with it.” Anything at all? Or is the elephant in the room being ignored?

nothing as far as I know, all I know is they never stated this before launch, players buy the pack souly for Spartan ops and get seriously disappointed

Nothing so far.

No reason as to why it doesn’t work. No information if a fix will occur for it.

Some customers actually bought this bundle for Spartan Ops. A real shame that people had to find out after they made their purchase.

A little more info next time, 343?

Yeah, I was kinda upset when I saw that the ODST armor that I have equipped was replaced by Recruit in Spartan Ops. They need to fix it.

Agreed, I want to enjoy my new loot…

Those only applied because matchmaking supports gametypes which is how the new tweaking system is implemented without effecting the “core” Halo for those who are fine with that. SOPS doesn’t support those, but it DOES support loadouts and customizable armor. It should therefore be fully capable of supporting this DLC from an intuitive standpoint.

The fact that it doesn’t (at least for now) is bad enough but what is absolutely damning about this situation is that 343 did not advertise this limitation, especially on the Xbox Live marketplace where people make the decision to buy or no. Some people (like myself) bought this DLC because they wanted to revamp their co-op experience in some small way. What 343 has done is sell us all a stinking lemon as we approach the threshold of the Xbox one. What worse way is there to “inspire” consumer confidence for Halo 5?

If it’s not advertised, then it’s an unforseen glitch or bug. I’m sure it’ll be addressed in the next Halo Bulletin. Has to be, because this is too big to ignore.

I hope you are right, I hope this gets a fix

If there’s no mention of this issue in the Halo Bulletin, I’ll blow a gasket. And I don’t just want to hear the usual Q & A crap like “Can I wear the new armor in Spartan Ops?”/“Sorry, the Champions DLC content does not work in Spartan Ops.”

I want an explanation, and more importantly, I want a solution to the problem.
