"Champions DLC doesn't work in Spartan Ops?"

>

Lets just calm down. If you value your money so much, then the last thing you should be spending it on is video games. But then again it is Halo…but seriously this is more funny than insulting with all the “yooinks”

The words “343i” and “unprofessional” seem to go hand-in-hand quite often. Anybody remember their same BS with the Limited Edition?

Fortunately for me I don’t play SpOps too much, although I was considering getting back into it. I feel sorry for more frequent SpOps players though.

>

Just a question: has anyone that’s claimed “unprofessional” actually been a professional? I’ll hang up and listen.

Ridiculously dissapointing. Yet another let down from 343i. Considering all things, the armor and weapon skins are now worthless to me. Too bad I already forked out my money before I found out. Looks like I effectively payed ten bucks for some more poorly-lit skins.

Every single time I begin to trust 343 with halo, they come along and ruin it with the latest release.

Bungie will treat us right with destiny, at least. Pretty upset with 343, but what did expect. The real biter is that I served as a vocal defender of 343’s potential in the long stretch between Halo: Reach and Halo 4. Looks like they’re still more interested in turnin Call of Duty fans than keeping Halo ones.

I actually work in marketing, smartass, so this is my expertise. And I know absolutely 100% that its bad business (unprofessional) to advertise content that doesn’t work in certain areas of the game, and not give a warning or disclaimer, or something.

Now I’ll just hang up and listen. You talk like you’re the genius. But now you look like a fool.

Sorry for so many yoinks Lol. Glad to hear I made you laugh longhorn. Just was looking at longhorns profile and the guy seems to think he’s omniscient. He has gotten a dang rebuttal for everything. Poor people put stuff up and he shoots them down. Must enjoy it. Nothing better to do I guess. Let me put this simply, I. Don’t. Care. Break it down enough handicap man. It’s not the point of ten dollars. It’s the fact that I was not informed that I could use this for the whole game. In no way does this matter if it’s false advertising, but it is misleading. If you don’t say anything people don’t know. They assume, yeah they shouldn’t. Truth is though it was totally unprofessional of them not to say anything about Spartan Ops not being included. I could care less about campaign. I’m done with this. I’ve spent entirely to much time arguing with someone who gets joy out of others anger. And time is precious.

Lol, if you’re in marketing, and you think this is some grand crime of professionalism…lol! I’d hate to be your employer.

“Alright team, we’re releasing a new cookie, but we need to make sure we state you can’t eat it through your nose! It’s unprofessional if we don’t.”

Pew pew, baby.

You were not informed you couldn’t use it for the whole game, or you just simply went off and assumed you could? Two different points.

>

Makes hateful comment.

Blatantly ignores proof of said comment’s falseness.

Seems legit.

> Lmao, eating a cookie through your nose, and a video game update not doing what you thought it should be are two totally different scenarios. You obviously know not to stuff a cookie up your nose. Whether a weapon skin is supposed to work in a episode of spops should be stated on the download. I can’t get over this guy… Lol[/spoiler]

> So now, every time I play Spartan Ops, I’m going to be looking boring and plain because I’m going to be wearing all Prefect, and I sure as heck ain’t going to be switching my armor every other time. :frowning:

I can (sadly) confirm this.

Disappointing.

Still, before 343 came out with Champion’s we thought this kind of DLC was impossible. Still a major positive in my book. Just not as positive as it possibly could be.

1st: never said it was a “grand crime” you may have just pulled that out of your -Yoink-. it’s just bad business. rarely is any type of marketing strategy perfect (especially in the entertainment industry) but hey you already know that right, smart one?

2nd: your analogy makes my sides hurt from laughter. It’s pretty damn stupid, that’s why. SpOps has ALWAYS SHOWN YOUR MULTIPLAYER MODEL. SO WE ARE IN THE RIGHT TO ASSUME THAT WE CAN USE THE DLC IN SPOPS. 343i has every right to give a disclaimer. Would have still been disappointing but it would have caused way less anger. And it would have been “professional”.

“Guys, we’re making a cookie with peanuts in it, with no warning label on the package. When we sell the cookies to the customer, we tell them it has peanut products inside.”

So you’re gonna knock my analogy, then compare something with serious health consequences to not being able to play dress-up with your video game character? Man, your sides must REALLY be hurting to come up with one.

Unless you were trying to make a dreadful analogy to point out how off mine was, then kudos to you, sir.

If you’re going to say I’m sounding dumber, at least have the decency to use the proper *you’re.

And no, not about last word, just killing the last few minutes before lunch.

Yeah! Well said! Agree completely. Should stop arguing with him though, he, like I said thinks he omniscient. It’s a waste of finger energy.

Jesus -Yoinking!- Christ, I’m done arguing with you. You obviously don’t know what a god -Yoink!- analogy is, besides the same concept/theory, the analogy doesn’t relate to the point I’m trying to make. I don’t even know why I’m explaining it to your inbred -Yoink-, you wouldn’t retain it for more than 27 seconds anyway.
