They have already said that Season 2 won’t be coming considering Requiem is gone. Plus, I doubt they will give is any money back at all because they stated before the bundle came out that it wouldn’t work in Spartan Ops so they warned us. They will most likey patch it.

A warning? they tweeted something like the day before it was released to the few people who read it thats not a warning
It wasn’t a tweet. If it was, some gaming interest sites would have reported on it and word would have spread. What we got was a single forum post that pretty much said “nope, doesn’t work in Spartan Ops”. And that was done only after the fact.

Yup, I feel that the DLC was worth it but it’s just missing something by not being available in SpOps, I do however give 343 the benefit of the doubt as it’s the first time this has been done in Halo hopefully they find a fix but if they let it slide I will be upset

Part of me really believes I’ll turn my xbox on tonight (or any coming night) to find another update, or simply find that the DLC suddenly has been patched.
I know that’d be a chore in terms of development but at the same time, if I were on the other end I probably would have noticed this issue and went right on fixing it before mentioning anything. Just to get it out of the way.
In short, I believe someone has taken notice ance just doesn’t have the authority to answer us/ it isn’t their responsiblity.

I’m willing to give them some leeway as this hasn’t been done in Halo before. But BS Angel’s post about this really rubs me the wrong way.

To clarify, 343i said they had “no current plans for a Season 2”, and that was months ago; so it is a possibility. Also, Spartan Ops doesn’t have be set on Requiem; a lot of people seem to think that Season 2 would most likely take place on Installation 03. Given what happened in the campaign mission “The Composer” the ring is most likely under Covenant control now.
At any rate, I shouldn’t have to wait until Season 2 comes out to be able to use my new gear in Spartan Ops, especially if 343i can fix this via a Title Update.

343i have been pretty mum on the subject. That post is the only indication from 3431 that something is wrong. Everything else seems to point to them ignoring it/us.

I’d shout for joy if they gave Spartan Ops the same treatment they give to Wargames. Not just fixing the whole DLC issue, but applying the weapons re-balance to it as well.
Not just that, but adding on new story content as well. That would probably do a whole lot more to bring people’s interest back to Halo 4 than Wargames updates.

^Yes. She only made her statement when people started noticing and posting that the armor upgrades (Shielding and Mobility upgrades) didn’t work in SO. I.E. after the TU.

Aye, that’s true. The problem first came to light after the Recharge and Survivor support upgrades were released via the Title Update on Monday; the day before the Champions DLC was released, but nonetheless… BS Angel only made that one forum post, no official announcement or anything.
The result, most people didn’t find out until after they bought the DLC and tried using it in Spartan Ops.
The more I read about this and various BS Angel twitter posts about the DLC being war games only the more I feel it isn’t going to change. That really is such a let down. It may be a negligible issue for some, but for people like myself it’s a bit of a slap in the face. Still going to keep my fingers crossed, but my hope is waning with each passing day with no news to the contrary of BS Angel’s response.
