Wow what a BS move this has turned into I’m at a loss for words this make’s the McFarlane DLC worthless to me since I’m guessing it will be the same.

That’s surprising. I didn’t expect that from 343.
Well, that’s disappointing to say the least.
I just wish 343 would say why they didn’t tells us this before.
I appreciate the fact that bsangel replied to two of my tweets now but it doesn’t change the fact that we were not told in advance the limitations of this dlc. Strange that no official statement appears to have been made but I was able to get a direct reply just by asking on twitter. Looks like no spartan ops champions bundle fun for us fans then.

The problem is they haven’t told us, if you ask they will tell you personally but they seem reluctant to make an official statement. Maybe so more unsuspecting spartan ops players hand over their cash.
OK, so now that it’s clear to those of us that read the forums and/or go anywhere else but Waypoint for information about Halo 4, I’m wondering if anyone that has not yet purchased the Champions DLC or whatever portion of it that contains the armor and/or support stuff will see a clear disclaimer when they go to Xbox Live Marketplace?
Or is the plunder still in progress?
As of 1642 Pacific,the Champions Bundle nor any of the sub bundles show any mention that they are limited to War Games. They are listed as simply a Halo 4 game bundle, not just one part of Halo 4.

I looked at the Halo Bulletin and all I saw concerning the Bundle was how wonderful it is. There was no mention that I saw concerning any limitations for the Champions Bundle.

Correct me if I am wrong. Halo 4 campaign, Spartan Ops, and War Games uses the same code for the maps and all of the items on them, correct?
Then why is it so difficult to make the Champions Bundle work with Spartan Ops if it can work with War Games? I am aware that the bundle can’t be set up to be used with the campaign since the Master Chief uses his own iconic armor and picks up standard issue weapons as he goes thru the story. But why not have the Bundle work for Spartan Ops?

Quick question, is BS Angel an ‘official’ spokesperson for 343i or Microsoft? Or is BS Angel just another unpaid volunteer who keeps an eye on Waypoint?
QA should be held responsible for this. I want a refund if they don’t fix this. I was about to show-off my ODST armor and sweet looking wood DMR to my buddy in Spartan Ops, and when we got in, he said, “Why are you wearing recruit armor?!”
Remember when developers actually ran extensive QA tests because the “fix all” internet wasn’t available to games, and a huge mistake like this could ruin the studio? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
So no plans on simply adding the new content to spartan-ops? I feel so… disappointed. I wish I hadn’t bought the bundle now. 
A simple explanation would be nice. I can’t imagine this would be that hard to implement, but I reserve the right to be wrong on that.

That looks like a typo to me… could she have possibly meant “no current plans to change its functionality?” I can only hope.
The other day I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the Champions DLC. Now I just feel depressed and disappointed.
